Entry Guidelines

To enter competition go to www.topfloorlearning.org and sign up. There is a $25 entry fee. Go to On-Line registration and in place of class name put gnedso-2. When your $25 entry fee is received you will receive information on how to upload your images to the website.

Entrants will digitally shoot anything anywhere outdoors in New  England (No studio shooting). Shooting begins on Friday June 18 and ends one minute before midnight on Monday, June 21, 2010.  Images must be shot during this time frame. Metadata will be checked for dates. Entrants will have one week to process images and post them to the designated web site – (details coming soon.) Images are due by June 28th. Voting can take place over one week period.  

 All entrants can post two images which were caught during shoot time. All files must contain metadata to confirm shooting information. Each entrant will be allowed three votes. The winners will be those who get the most votes from the other entrants. (Judged by one’s peers). Prizes will be awarded.

• Best in Show: $250 in cash and Software from Hunts Camera and Video ($250 value)
• First Place: $150 in Cash and 24×36 Wall print from Giclee of New England, Inc. ($70 value)
• Second Place: $100 in cash and Gift Certificate for Dinner at Mohegan Sun ($100 value)
• Third Place: $50 and Class from Top Floor Learning ($120 value)
• Fourth Place: $ 25 and Gift Certificate for Dinner at Steaming Tenders Restaurant ($25 value).
• Fifth Place: $25 in Cash
• Sixth Place: MP3 Player

 Top twenty artists will have a gallery showing at the Giclée of New England Gallery, Palmer, MA. It will be the responsibility of the winning photographers to have their photos printed, framed and ready for hanging in the show.

It is hoped that the winning photographers will be available to attend an artists’ reception during the show. The show is scheduled to run from mid Mid July to August 31, 2010.

All rights are retained by the photographer. The image files uploaded to the voting site will be destroyed after voting is completed.  Although Top Floor Learning will do everything possible to protect images we will not be held responsible for illegal downloads.
